How Do I Collate The Forms When Printing?

To turn on the Collate option: 

• From the Main Menu of PTS Tax choose Configuration
• Then select Printer/Copies Setup. 
• Select Edit Number of Individual Copies to Print. 
• Choose the Print Option Title that you want Collated. 
• Now check the box next to Collated Print Option.  If you want all of the Print Option Titles to be Collated then select each one individually and check the Collated Print Option box for each one.

Collate means the forms will print in sequence, so if you print two copies of the Federal Return it will print out as page 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. and then print the second copy of the federal return.  If collate is turned off and you print two copies of the Federal Return then it will print pages 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, etc.
